General Iljurin who founded CiA with Luke has turned a year older today. After hiding in caves and kayaks along the scandinavian coast he's returned online. Now we just have to convince him of returning to the server for a game or two.

The server status is now back on the right side.

For now only text display of the status, but it will change with time.

If you have noticed problems with IE6 and display of the news-title without background, I hope I fixed it now. Should look the same in firefox and IE6 now.

The page is updated and the forum is also available again.

Login to forum and page is the same like on the old page.

If you find some problems with rendering of the page, please let us know. Page is tested with Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 6.

Design can change with time, cause not all things done till now.

To have more fun playing no-addons missions on the server we use a modification on behalf of [CiA]Sputnik Monroe that changes the graphics of the regular BIS units (regular west soldiers, regular east soldiers, black ops, speznaz, pilots of both sides and more). The weapons are changed too to a much better looking models (only the graphics are changed). The modifications are client side only, and are activated by a seperate mod folder and a shortcut parameter, only the config file is changed in the finmod folder itself.

We are upgrading our site at the moment.

As soon as all is done, it will be online with all changes. If content is changed in the meantime, it can be lost.

Forum is set to read-only during the upgrade process.

Sorry for the server-downtime, but the power-supply of the server was down. The hoster fixed the problem with a new power-supply. All services should be up and running again.

Zwobot has been a regular player on the server for quite some time. We have always felt that he has the the CiA kind of personality and game style. Now, after seeing some more of Zwobot, we have decided to offer him the CiA tags. Always gentle, modest and calm, Zwobot is a CiA natural. Welcome aboard Zwobot!

CiA´s Flashpoint server now hosts the highly acclaimed Tonal islands, featuring jungle, desert and wastelands environments. We will start playing missions on it on Wednesday, the 21st. Please make sure to install the needed addons (Tonal version 1.2). If you still don´t have Tonal, download it from here. The CiA BIS thread will be updated with the necessary information shortly.

As the linux dedicated server for ArmA is out now, we have set up the server and it is running.

After some time of testing and optimizing, we will start ArmA Coop Nights like our OFP / FDF|BAS Coop Nights.

OFP / FDF|BAS will not be dead. We still will play OFP / FDF|BAS.
